Description

Glendronach stands in the Valley of Forgue, near Huntly in Aberdeenshire. James Allardice started distilling here in 1826. Today the whisky is in the care of Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie. Until 2005 the stills were fired by coal, one of the last such set ups in Scotland.
