The Macallan A Night on Earth First Light 2025 Edition

A celebratory single malt in Macallan’s annual “A Night on Earth” series, First Light honours one of the earliest New Year sunrises in New Zealand. The striking artwork—created with NZ artist Bonnie Brown—evokes dawn tones and the warmth of gathering with loved ones. Matured in a mix of sherry-seasoned European & American oak casks alongside American ex-bourbon barrels, it’s bottled at 43% ABV with natural colour for a smooth, welcoming style. Expect aromas of vanilla, buttery shortbread and citrus; a palate of baked apple, berry compote, toasted marshmallow and sweet oak; and a gently warming, oaky-spiced finish.
