The first Gin borne from GinShack SA is the Lengana Gin which is not only made for the sophisticated gin pallet but those who are new to Gin will love it too. Lengana Gin has been carefully handmade using 18 Botanicals with Lengana being the signature botanical.
Lengana is a soft aromatic shrub which is one of the most popular plants in South Africa, known mainly for its medicinal attributes such as curing flu and cold symptoms.
The strong, sticky sweet smell that exudes from Lengana when it is touched or cut is what inspired us to go into uncharted territory with Lengana Gin. With every sip you will get aromatic notes of Lengana which are uniquely light and married with a refreshingly citrus taste.
