The first in this series honors their very first Master Distiller, Mr. Jack himself. Jack Daniel, who was the Master Distiller from 1866 to 1911.
Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Series No.2
In 2013, the 2nd bottle in the Master Distiller Series was released honoring Jess Motlow, the Master Distiller from 1911 to 1941.
Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Series No.3
The third of only eight men to have served as Master Distiller is Lemuel “Lem” Tolley. As Mr. Jack’s grandnephew Lem carried a determination to continue the tradition of making Jack Daniel’s with the consistency of those before him. He was the Master Distiller from 1941 to 1964
Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Series No.4
This 4th bottle in the Master Distiller Series was released by the Distillery in October of 2015. Commemorating Jess Gamble, who only served as Master Distiller from 1964 to 1966.
Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Series No.5
The fifth edition of Jack Daniel’s range of whiskey’s honouring the company’s master blenders. During the 1970s and most of the 1980s, Frank Bobo oversaw the historic rise of our Old No. 7 Brand. Throughout his watch, he never made enough whiskey to keep up with demand; he was more concerned about making every drop according to the low, time-honored process our founder perfected.

Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Series No.6
Like their founder Jack Daniel, Jimmy Bedford was both a farmer and a whiskey-maker, so he knew a thing or two about the importance of strong roots. He made his whiskey Jack’s way. True to its roots and true to Jack’s words – “every day we make it, we’ll make it the best we can.” This 6th bottle in the Master Distiller Series was released by the Distillery in September of 2017. Commemorating Jimmy Bedford, who served as Master Distiller from 1988 to 2008.
