When the island’s grapes are ripe, the community unites to handpick the fruit, destined for Madeira wine. Once their work is done, the streets erupt with joyous celebrations.
Aged 16 years, The Vindima marries whisky aged in bourbon casks and whisky finished in Malmsey casks – the sweetest style of Madeira. The deep purple tones of its packaging are inspired by the tones of ripened grapes.
