Benriach Quarter Cask

First aged in bourbon barrels before a second maturation in bespoke quarter casks. Distilled in the heart of Speyside, Benriach Smoky Quarter Cask represents a bold return to the 19th-century style of regional distilling. Unlike the medicinal peat found in island malts, this expression utilizes wood-rich Highland peat, which imparts a distinctly sweet and aromatic smoke.

The smaller casks allow for more interaction between the wood and whisky, amplifying those buttery, woody flavours.

Benriach whisky is highly regarded for its versatile Speyside style, featuring a rich, fruity profile often matured in complex cask combinations (bourbon, sherry, port, and virgin oak).
