The second cask release of Incendo Distillery’s single cask expression whiskies. Medium bodied with toffee and fruit. This batch is named: “Shiver Me Timbers!” referring to the cask that previously held rum. It is made from a mash bill of malted barley and wheat. The spirit was aged in a charred American oak cask that previously held Rum. A round mouthfeel, toffee on the nose with custard, baking spices and citrus aromas and a lingering aftertaste revealing the rum cask finish. Bottled at 3.5 Years at 43% alcohol/volume. Absolutely no additives are used, the color you see is what we got straight from the cask. The whisky is non-chill filtered.
Founded in 2017 by Francois and Vonmari Joubert, Incendo distillery is a proudly South African craft distillery based in Hartbeespoort. The distillery produces gin, rum, whisky, brandy and a range of liqueurs.
